WHAT IS IxMobile?

IxMobile is Ixia's next generation Video Telephony diagnostic solution that provides interoperability testing, troubleshooting, service optimization and video telephony call monitoring capabilities. It is a versatile 4-in-1 tool, providing capabilities for emulation, analysis, monitoring and QoS with call reporting. IxMobile is essential for network equipment manufacturers, handset manufacturers, and mobile operators deploying multimedia services over 3G networks. With release 3.15, IxMobile enhances existing feature, adds new functionality, and formally aligns with the standards bodies:

- 3GPP File Support - File recording and playback formats now include the 3GPP format. This allows users to test with pre-recorded 3GPP files, as well as record live traffic in 3GPP format for comparison and quality measurements.
- Auto Dialer Test Scheduling - Designed to run multiple calls serially, the Auto Dialer allows users to schedule calls with varying attributes to run automatically. All test results are saved. These results can be used to determine pass/fail status, calculate voice and video quality, as well as replay the logged calls.

- Full 3G-324M/H.324M, and H.323 support
- H.245 Manual Message configuration and denial
- H.223 MUX-PDU configuration
- Customizable codec rates and profiles
